Astro Playhouse is equipped with a variety of age-appropriate games and activities, designed to engage and entertain children while enhancing their skills. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are safe, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for both play school and daycare needs. From sensory play for toddlers to creative art spaces for older children, every area encourages exploration and growth.
As children grow, the curriculum evolves to include more structured learning that introduces them to basic academic concepts in a fun and engaging way :
Interactive lessons and activities help children recognize and learn shapes, colours, numbers, and their first steps in math. Using play-based tools like blocks and charts, children start to grasp early mathematical concepts.
Through songs, rhymes, and stories, children learn to recognize letters and sounds. This is a crucial foundation for literacy skills.
Simple science concepts like the environment, plants, animals, and weather are introduced through hands-on activities like nature walks and interactive displays.
Through art, crafts, music, and dance, children are encouraged to use their imagination to express themselves and explore the world creatively.
Encouraging children to explore their environment through touch, sight, sound, and movement. Sensory play helps develop fine and gross motor skills, critical for early learning.
Introducing new vocabulary, simple phrases, and basic communication skills through storytelling, rhymes, songs, and conversations. This helps foster early language comprehension and speech development.
Interaction with peers in a guided setting to promote sharing, turn-taking, and learning how to work as part of a group. These early social skills are critical for the child’s emotional development.
Activities like drawing, painting, building blocks, and simple puzzles develop hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Astro Playhouse is a Play School spread over an area of 3500 sq. Feet with provision for further extension.
It was started by an ex-Modernite in the year 1999.
It is ideally located on the main road near Metroplex East Mall (earlier known as Radhu Palace Cinema) just one minute drive from main Vikas Marg (Madhuban crossing).
It is equipped with a variety of indoor and outdoor games and activities which the children thoroughly enjoy and learn from. Various modern teaching aids like charts, games, display boards etc. are used for teaching the toddlers through play way methods.
Our qualified and talented teachers ensure that individual attention is paid to each child for optimal development of their skills and talent. Periodic outings are organized to places of interest by the
School for the children.
In recent decades, studies have shown that early childhood education is critical in preparing children to enter and succeed in the (grade school) classroom, diminishing their risk of social-emotional mental health problems and increasing their self-sufficiency as adults.
In other words, the child needs to be taught to rationalize everything and to be open to interpretations and critical thinking. There is no subject to be considered taboo, starting with the most basic knowledge of the world he lives in, and ending with
