Capacity Building Workshop on “Bridging Gaps: Language, Learning & Beyond” 2nd–3rd August 2025 collaboration with AYJNISHD, Mumbai
In continuation of the online sessions conducted in July, a two-day Capacity Building Workshop was
organized at AVV, focusing on Language Development, Classroom Management, and Curriculum Adaptation
for children with hearing impairments.
We were privileged to host eminent resource persons from Mumbai:
Dr. Gayatri Ahuja, HOD, Education, AYJNISHD (Divyangjan)
Mrs. Lata Nayak, Founder Principal, Rotary Sanskardham Academy
Mrs. Anuradha Bagchi, Director, Helen Keller Institute for Deaf and Deafblind
The sessions offered fresh perspectives and practical strategies, making it an enriching and interactive
experience for AVV educators.
The Valedictory Session was graced by Ms. Pragya Kewalramani (IAS), Divisional Commissioner, Udaipur, who
appreciated the initiative and congratulated the school for its commitment to inclusive education.
Bidding adieu to Ms. Pooja Aggarwal, Principal AVV 2nd August 2025
A farewell program was organized to bid adieu to the beloved principal of AVV, Pooja Aggarwal,
whose year and a half of dedicated service transformed the school and lifted it to new heights.
Her vision, warmth, and tireless commitment left an indelible mark on every corner of AVV. The
farewell was heartfelt, with staff members unable to hold back their tears, a true reflection of
the love and respect she earned during her journey with us.
Raksha Bandhan Celebration 7th August 2025
Raksha Bandhan brought with it an air of love, laughter,
and emotional bonding. Girls of AVV lovingly tied Rakhis
on the wrists of boys. These rakhees were handcrafted by
the Vocational Training Department of AVV. The boys in
turn expressed their affection by giving thoughtful gifts as
a token of love.
This heartfelt exchange was a beautiful reminder that the
bond of a sister and brother remains timeless, despite
playful quarrels. The day was filled with pure emotions and
joy.
Janmasthmi Celebration 14 August 2025
Adding to the festive spirit, students came
dressed as Krishna and Radha and began the
celebration with puja. With boundless
excitement, the students participated in the
Matki Phod program. With radiant smiles,
they formed pyramids, danced, and enjoyed
the celebration.
It was a joyful experience that combined
tradition, devotion, teamwork, and fun.
Farewell to Mr. Jayesh Sharma 14 August 2025
AVV bid farewell to Mr. Jayesh Sharma, Computer
Trainer and Informatics Assistant, on his selection in
Government Service. During his tenure, he supported
students with dedication and contributed to
strengthening computer education at the school. The
school community thanked him for his contribution
and wished him success in his new role.
Purv Sandhya Program 14th August 2025
On the evening before Independence Day, a cultural
program Ek Shaam Desh Ke Naam was organized by the
District Administration and Education Department at
Sukhadia Rangmanch, Town Hall, Udaipur. Many schools
took part and presented patriotic performances full of
energy and love for the nation.
Our talented AVV girls began the program with a graceful
Ganesh Vandana, which won the hearts of the audience.
The event was attended by Udaipur MLA Shri Tarachand
Jain, Chief District Education Officer Dr. Pratibha Gupta,
DEO (Secondary) Shri Lokesh Bharti, other officers,
students, and parents.
Independence Day Celebration 15th August 2025
The 79th Independence Day was
celebrated with pride and enthusiasm
at AVV. Sh. Tejendra Marvaha,
Honorary Secretary of SEDA, hoisted
the National Flag. Students presented
cultural performances that reflected
the spirit of patriotism and unity.
Later, at the district-level program
held at Gandhi Ground, Udaipur,
around 200 AVV students performed a
spirited PT display under the banner of
Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, earning wide
appreciation. The Chief Guest, Mr.
Babulal Kharadi, Minister for Tribal
Area Development and Home Guards,
unfurled the National Flag and
conveyed his greetings to all.
MoU with the Dental Department of Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital

SEDA has signed an MoU with the Dental Department of Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital.
Under this collaboration, the hospital will take care of all dental-related problems of our children and
staff, except for extreme cases requiring specialized interventions.
This partnership will go a long way in safeguarding the oral health and overall well-being of our
community.
