Audiology and Speech Therapy Unit
1. Speech and Hearing Assessment
Abhilasha Vishesh Vidyalaya (AVV) has a well-established Speech and Hearing Assessment Unit equipped with the latest technology to assess hearing loss in students. RCI-certified audiologists and speech therapist regularly evaluate each student to determine the degree and type of hearing loss.
The assessment results are used to guide teachers in planning appropriate classroom strategies and individualized support for students. To ensure a well-rounded approach, parent counseling sessions are also organized to educate families about the importance of early intervention, speech training, and regular hearing evaluations.

Deaf students at AVV take an active role in developing simplified video lessons aligned with the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) curriculum. These visual resources make classroom learning more accessible, inclusive, and student-centered. The lab also fosters digital literacy, peer collaboration, and a sense of ownership over their education.
